Suds in the Tub

I was not sure where to even start so I thought I would give you a glimpse into my day. Since I am on Thanksgiving break, my 3 dogs HAD to have a bath. It was long overdue.

No only do we use all natural products but we use all natural products on our dogs. We all share the same soap/ shampo.  We use Dr. Bronner's pure Castile soap. Here are the all natural ingredients:  Water, Organic Coconut Oil*, Potassium Hydroxide**, Organic Palm Kernel Oil*, Organic Olive Oil*, Lavandin Extract, Organic Hemp Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Lavender Extract, Citric Acid, Tocopherol.

No harmful chemicals there!

I used to work at a vet hospital for 5 years. I was basically a vet tech without the degree to prove it. My dogs were taking fleas meds either by mouth or as a topical and heartworm prevention as well. When I stopped working there we could no longer afford this monthly for three dogs. So I stopped. I felt like I was neglecting my dogs, but did some research on some natural alternatives. Thank God that I no longer put those harmful chemicals on/in my animals. Some things we use now, are tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar, lavender, and diatomaceous earth. This helps to protect against the parasites!

Now, what does this stuff do for me? Well, we use it for shampoo, soap, to wash dishes, to clean the house, and so much more!

Here is the site if you would like to check it out or try it for yourself. Its amazing! You can get it in many sents. My favorite is peppermint and lavender.

Well, the dogs are bathed, supper has been cooked, it's time to call it a night.!

First Post!

Hello!

Let me start off by telling you about myself. I am 25 years old, happily married, and a born again, awakened Christian. I am also a 2nd grade school. I have no children other than my 3 dogs and 2 cats who are my fur babies.

So, the reason to even start this blog is to share, connect and learn from others who share the same interests as me. The title of my blog basically means I am  a Christian who is partaking in the natural lifestyle approach. What do I mean by a natural lifestyle approach? Glad you asked! We do not use store bought shampoo, soap, cleaner, hair products, deodorant, ect. We steer clear of dangerous chemicals. We make our own deodorant. We buy an all natural soap and shampoo. We use natural remedies to get and stay well. So, in a nutshell the reason for my blog is to share with you the things I make, the products we use, and to learn from each other.

I believe as Christians we should see the hidden agenda behind all of these harmful things that we are basically forced to use in our everyday lives. If  it's not in its pure form that God made, we need to steer clear of it.

I hope and pray you will join me on this natural journey! God bless!
